In 2006, Lacey became the youngest ever recipient to have won the Best Actress award at both British Soap and Inside Soap Awards. Also, in 2007 she became the youngest actress to have won the National Television Award for Most Popular Actress. She also holds the record for winning all Best Actress categories in a single year, in all soap ceremonies. She has overall won 3 British Soap Awards,1 TV Quick and Choice Award, 1 TRIC Award,1 TV Now Award,1 National Television Award,3 All About Soap Bubble Award and 7 Inside Soap Award.
Lacey was single until december 2008 where she met barman Chris Andrews.Turner has stated that she "Sees a future" with Andrews and has also commented that she would love to become a mum stating "I do get broody sometimes i know im only 21 but i cant help it,I would love about 3 kids".
